Privacy policy

This policy covers woppadoodle.com and the work I do for clients. It describes what I actually collect — not what a generic template says I might.

The short version

I count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. I use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use this site — where they click and how far they scroll. Text typed into forms is masked before anything is recorded. Microsoft’s privacy statement applies to that data. I don't use tracking pixels or advertising cookies. I never sell or rent your information, or share it for advertising, and I don't have a marketing list to add you to.

What I collect and why

When you use the contact form

The form asks for your name, email, phone number, and a message. All four go to me so I can reply. The form is operated by Formspree, which receives your submission and forwards it to my email. Formspree stores a copy on their servers.

When you book a call

Scheduling runs through Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, email, the time you picked, and anything you type into the notes. It also places the appointment on my calendar, which is Google Workspace.

When you simply visit the site

My host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, which page was requested, and when. This happens on essentially every website and I don't do anything with it beyond troubleshooting.

Page view counts

I use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records which page was viewed, the site that linked you here, and your country, browser, operating system, and device type. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data. Vercel tells visits apart using a hash of the incoming request that is discarded after 24 hours, so it can't follow you from one day to the next or across other websites. Vercel’s page view counts show me totals only, never individual visitors. Microsoft Clarity is separate and does record individual sessions, as described above.

If you become a client

Project files you send me — photos, logos, written content, business details — are stored in Google Drive in a folder for your project. Invoices and payments run through Stripe. Stripe processes the card or bank details directly; I never see or store a full card number or bank account number.

Cookies

The site itself sets no advertising cookies. Microsoft Clarity sets its own cookies to measure how the site is used; Microsoft’s privacy statement covers them. Cal.com and Formspree may set their own cookies when you interact with those features. Their policies govern that, and I've linked them below.

Who I share information with

Only the services listed above, and only because they're required to make the thing work:

• Formspree — contact form delivery
• Cal.com — appointment scheduling
• Vercel — website hosting and page view counts
• Microsoft Clarity — site usage analytics (clicks and scrolling)
• Google Workspace / Google Drive — email and client file storage
• Stripe — invoicing and payment processing

I do not sell your information. I do not share it for advertising. I would disclose information if legally required to, and I'd tell you unless I were prohibited from doing so.

How long I keep things

Contact form messages and booking details stay in my email and calendar indefinitely unless you ask me to delete them. Client project files are kept for the life of the project and for a reasonable period afterward, so I can help if you come back. Payment records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your choices

Email info@woppadoodle.com and I'll do any of the following:

• Tell you what information I hold about you
• Send you a copy of it
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete it, except where I'm required to keep records for tax purposes

I'll respond within 30 days. You don't need to explain why you're asking, and it applies regardless of what state or country you're in.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.

Security

I use reputable service providers and keep accounts protected with strong authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and I won't pretend otherwise. I don't ask for and won't accept passwords to your accounts by email or through any shared folder.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
